2023 Mail Ballot Election

2023 ELECTION RESULTS


The three persons elected during the 2023 Regular Election to serve four-year terms on the District Board received the following votes:

 

Tom Malmgren - 125 votes

Jim Reis - 121 votes

Abigail Tietjen - 154 votes



On May 2, 2023, the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District will hold a mail ballot election to elect three Board Members.  

Ballots for the May 2 election will be mailed to all Copper Mountain active registered voters the week of Monday, April 10.  If your registration is current, a ballot will be automatically sent to the mailing address listed with your voter registration. Any voter who will be absent from his/her residence during the mailing period for ballots may contact the Designated Election Official to request an application for an absentee ballot.  

Mail ballots will be due to the District by 7:00 p.m on Election Day, Tuesday, May 2, 2023.

Ballot Drop Off

Once you vote the ballot, place it in the secrecy envelope and seal it in the pre-addressed return envelope. Be sure to complete the Voter Affidavit on the return envelope. After verifying that the return envelope has your name and current address, return the ballot either by mail with appropriate postage or at the following location between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, or by 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 2, 2023:

Ballots may also be dropped off between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 2, 2023 at the address above.

Voter Eligibility


To be eligible to vote in the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District May 2023 Election, you must be a person registered to vote in Colorado and a resident of the District or a person (not an LLC, Trust or Corporation) owning property (or spouse or civil union partner of a person owning property) within the boundaries of the District. C.R.S. 32-1-806


Voters may register to vote, or update records on-line at http://www.govotecolorado.com or by obtaining and returning a voter registration form to the Summit County Clerk and Recorder (http://www.co.summit.co.us/126/Elections).  A voter may only be registered in one County.  Multiple registrations are deleted by the Colorado Secretary of State.


It is the responsibility of each voter to update their voter registration.  If you have moved or have a new mailing address, please update your records on-line at http://www.govotecolorado.com or by obtaining and returning a voter registration form to the Summit County Clerk and Recorder (http://www.co.summit.co.us/126/Elections).
