2022 UNOFFICIAL ELECTION RESULTS


The unofficial results of the May 3, 2022 Regular Election for two (2) Directors to serve  three-year terms are:

 

Kim Casey - 65 votes

                Stan Sprinkle - 82 votes

  Ben Broughton - 113 votes



On May 3, 2022, the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District will hold a mail ballot election to elect two Board Members.  

Ballots for the May 3 election will be mailed to all Copper Mountain active registered voters no later than Monday, April 18, 2022.  If your registration is current, a ballot packet will be automatically sent to the mailing address listed with your voter registration. Any voter who will be absent from his/her residence during the mailing period for ballots may contact the Designated Election Official to request an application for an absentee ballot.  Applications must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 29, 2022.

Mail ballots will be due to the District by 7:00 p.m on Election Day, Tuesday, May 3, 2022.

Ballot Drop Off Box

Once you vote your ballot, place it in the secrecy sleeve and seal it in the pre-addressed return envelope. Be sure to sign the return envelope on the appropriate line. After verifying that the return envelope has your name and current address, return the ballot either by mail with appropriate postage or at the following location between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, and no later than 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, 2022:

Ballots may also be dropped off between the hours of 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, May 3, 2022 at the address above.

Voter Eligibility


To be eligible to vote in the Copper Mountain Consolidated Metropolitan District May 2022 Election, you must be a person registered to vote in Colorado and a resident of the District or a person (not an LLC, Trust or Corporation) owning property (or spouse or civil union partner of a person owning property) within the boundaries of the District. C.R.S. 32-1-806


Voters may register to vote, or update records on-line at http://www.govotecolorado.com or by obtaining and returning a voter registration form to the Summit County Clerk and Recorder (http://www.co.summit.co.us/126/Elections).  A voter may only be registered in one County.  Multiple registrations are deleted by the Colorado Secretary of State.


It is the responsibility of each voter to update their voter registration.  If you have moved or have a new mailing address, please update your records on-line at http://www.govotecolorado.com or by obtaining and returning a voter registration form to the Summit County Clerk and Recorder (http://www.co.summit.co.us/126/Elections).

If you believe you are eligible to receive a CMCMD ballot and do not receive one, complete the form below and return it to the Designate Election Official prior to Friday, April 29, 2022.  The following form must be completed and returned to the Designated Election Official before a ballot will be released.
